Stephenie Meyer was born on December 24, 1973 and is a young adult American producer and author, most popular for her Twilight vampire romance series. These Twilight novels have become internationally acknowledged and were able to sell more than a hundred million copies. They have been translated into thirty-seven different languages across the globe. Meyer became the best-selling author in America of both 2008 and 2009. In 2008 and in 2009, she has sold more than 29 million and 26.5 million Twilight books, respectively. In United States bookstores, the best-selling book of 2008 was Twilight.

Meyer got the 49th spot on the list of “The 100 Most Influential People of 2008” by Time magazine, and 26th spot on the list of the most powerful celebrities of the world in 2009 by Forbes Celebrity 100. Her yearly earnings went beyond $50 million.
 

Forbes did rank Meyer in 2010 #59 in the list of the most powerful celebrity having yearly earnings of USD40 million. Meyer is a film producer as well. She launched a production company of her own in 2011 along with Meghan Hibbett, who is also a producer. This company is named Fickle Fish Films. Stephenie spent a lot of 2011 to produce the two segments of Breaking Dawn and the movie adaptation of Austenland, which is a novel by Shannon Hale.
